Ingredients
2 cups moong dal (green gram), washed and soaked for 5-6 hours
Salt as per taste
6-7 green chillies 1/2 tsp ginger paste 1/2 tsp garlic paste Oil for fryingMethod:
- Remove the skin from dal which is floating on the top
- Grind the dal into paste along with green chillies
- Add ginger-garlic paste
- Add salt
- Mix it well
- Heat oil for deep frying
- Drop bite-sized pakoras into hot oil
- Deep fry on medium till golden brown
- Serve hot with tomato sauce or tamarind chutney
Making time: 1 hour (excluding soaking time).
Makes for: 5-6 serving
Shelf life: Best fresh
