Ingredients1/2 cup maize germ
2 cups water
salt to taste
1 tsp. gheeMethod
- Wash maize germ well.
- Add water and salt.
- Bring to a boil, stirring continuously, to avoid forming lumps.
- Cover loosely and cook on very low flame.
- Stir frequently and add more water if required.
- Takes about 25-30 minutes to cook well.
- Take off fire, add ghee, stir well well and serve with curds or hot milk and sugar.
