Among the lentils, red lentils are considered to be
among the more easily digestible ones. It is used more
in abundance in the northern parts of India, rather
than the south.
Though the traditional masoor ki dal, still is a hot
favourite among many, these lentils have begun to be
used in a wide variety of dishes.
