Ingredients1 tin tomato puree
Chilli powder
Dried herbs
Cinamon-clove powder
Asafetida powderMethod
- Take one tin tomato puree, or puree and strain four steamed ripe tomatoes.
- Add 1 tsp. chilli powder, 1 tsp. crushed dried herbs of choice, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon-clove powder, 2-3 pinches asafetida powder.
- Bring to a boil, cool, freeze in icecube trays.
- When frozen, remove cubes, put in ziplock freezer bag.
- Use as and when required to season soups, gravies, pizza toppings, rices, etc.
