Travel Treats

Tips
Packed food for travelling can be very interesting if only we use a little imagination and take a little care in the packing.

  1. Food used during travelling should be moisturefree as far as possible.
  2. The food should also not be very oily as this can cause a lot of unnecessary mess and work.
  3. We're on a holiday, so keep the maintenance part low, let them eat, and you sit back and relax.

For this plan the way you pack things, the materials you use and the age group you are travelling with. Eg. if you've got a bunch of kids on hand, then take enough dry easy to handle stuff.

If with friends or adults, pack neat individual packets with foil and butter paper, so you don't have to do any washing. Include a papernapkin and plastic disposable spoon in each packet for ease.

  4. Make food which will stay 3-4 days without spoiling if you are on a long trip.
  5. If you like spicy stuff, carry a small bottle of crushed paprika red chilli with you in your purse.

Just sprinkle it on any dish or salad with some salt.

You may even carry a tiny leakproof bottle of your favourite pickle and use it with the meal you eat outside.

  6. So go ahead and make travelling fun and yummy.
