  • For Brownies:
  • 1/2 cup - Flour
  • 2 - Eggs
  • 3/4 cup - Sugar
  • 1/4 cup - Butter
  • 1 - Dark chocolate bar
  • 1/4 tsp - Salt
  • 1/2 tsp - Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup - Nuts
  • Mocha Butter cream:
  • 2 cups - Confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 cup - Butter
  • 1 tbsp - Instant coffee
  • 1 tbsp - Milk

How to Make Layered Brownie Sandwich

  • For Brownies:
  • Preheat the oven to 325 degree Fahrenheit.
  • Melt the butter with the dark chocolate bar in the microwave for a few seconds, mix and keep aside.
  • Meanwhile beat the sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until they turn into a pale and smooth mixture.
  • Add the flour, melted chocolate-butter mixture and fold everything into a smooth batter.
  • Add the nuts, pour the batter in a greased rectangular pan and bake for 35 minutes until the crust turns firm.
  • Mocha Butter cream:
  • Beat the butter until it turns soft.
  • Gradually add the confectioners' sugar and beat well.
  • Meanwhile mix the coffee in milk, pour this to the sugar-butter mixture and beat well until it turns into a soft cream.
  • Refrigerate for at least an hour.
  • Cut the brownies into squares.
  • Use a piping bag and pipe out the mocha butter cream over a brownie. Place another brownie over this and pipe out more butter cream.
